The “Five Ws” of Shopping for a Cause

 

WHO?
A team of up to four shoppers (costumes encouraged) gather for a FUNdraiser for the Fredericksburg Unit of Boys & Girls Club of the Texas Hill Country and shopping experience like none other!

WHAT?
A shopping tournament. A shopping tournament!? Really!
Yup. Think golf tournament with a shopping twist. You can shop and receive prizes based on amount of money spent, team spirit/costume and amount directly donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

WHEN?
September 9, 2011- Preview parties at participating stores. Food, drinks, fun and a chance to start strategizing.
September 10, 2011- SHOPPING TOURNEY DAY!!!
8:30 am- Tee Time Breakfast @ the Club (see map here), sponsored by Clear River and Sunset Grill. Check-in, get your coupon booklets, meet other shoppers, get fueled up for a fun-filled day!
10:00 am- Let the shopping begin! Let loose on Main Street. Shop at participating stores and eat lunch at your leisure at one of our participating restaurants. You’ll have four drop-off stations downtown; a serious shopper need not carry their own bags!
5:00 pm- 19th hole PaRtY @ Nimitz Ballroom, sponsored by the Admiral Nimitz Museum, Auslander, Delicious Details Catering, Fredericksburg Pie Company,  My Own Chef Catering, The Party Affair, Torre di Pietra Winery and Unlimited Security!!! Cool down, unwind, win some prizes and awards!

Main Street in downtown FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS!!!

   We’re coming from Rockport Texas as the Seagals you’ll see these painted ladies with seagulls plastered all over We have been so excited about this event for weeks. it’s a first for most of us. Such a wonderful event. Seeing the faces of this happy little kiddo’s. We’re coming to make a dent in the retail. Sooooo OPEN OPEN
